April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, and this month I will be amplifying the voices of late-diagnosed Autistic adults and breaking down misconceptions about Autism.
For this special month, I’m launching a powerful video series entitled 1 Autistic Adult’s Story”. This series features late-diagnosed Autistic adults sharing their personal journeys—from navigating life unknowingly Autistic to embracing their true selves with confidence. These stories will provide insight, validation, and encouragement for anyone on a similar path.
I’m still looking for guests to share their stories! If you’re interested, visit https://tidycal.com/theconfidentautistic/1-autistic-adults-story-2025 to sign up.
Throughout April, through the Adult Autism 101 video series, I’ll also be diving into key topics that will help you and other Autistic adults build confidence and self-acceptance with videos including:
- April 7: What Autism Acceptance Really Means (And Why It Matters)
- April 14: Unmasking: Letting Go of the Pressure to ‘Fit In’
- April 21: Reframing Your Autistic Traits as Strengths
- April 28: Self-Compassion for Autistic Adults: Overcoming Guilt and Shame
For the video series, The Confident Autistic Library, I will be reviewing books that help you better understand, accept, and embrace your Autism. If you’re looking for new reads to support your journey, stay tuned!
Join the Conversation! Be part of this month-long celebration of Autism acceptance by watching, sharing, and engaging in the comments. Let’s spread the message that Autistic adults deserve to be seen, heard, and accepted—without conditions.
